Small vs. Big Weddings?
I don't know whether to have a small or large wedding...Does anyone regret spending a lot of money on their wedding overall, or wish you didn't get such an expensive dress? Why? Or, does anyone regret not having a larger wedding, and why? I just don't know if I will regret spending a lot of money for just one day in my life. I'm sure the day will just be as special if I don't buy a designer dress, tons of flowers, a fancy cake, etc. Any advice y'all could give me would greatly appreciated!
Do what YOU want!! I have been married twice, and both times it was small. I got married on horseback, with a handmade dress fashioned like Spanishladies who ride horseback, cascading over the horse's rump. Myast ( and real) wedding, we did it all ourselves - Native American, and it was the most beautiful day of my life. Not a lot of cash spent - friends helped with a feast. Spend the money on a honeymoon! Design your own wedding with yours and your groom's likes and preferences. make it special - a one of a kind, "you" wedding!
