To get started, you will need to make an eye-catching and informative website. You want to get your visitors excited about all the different ways there are to decorate cakes. Make them want to get on your newsletter list. Every week, write some cake decorating tips and send them to your subscribers. Be sure that you are informative enough for them to look forward to your newsletter, but give them just enough information for them to want to buy your book and learn more.

You will be surprised by how much you can expand your site and draw more customers. For example, once you have established a reputation, you can make arrangements with large bakeries in major cities and get commissions on referrals. You may even want to start a new website devoted to wedding cakes.
