A Word Of Wisdom From Disney
Right through history there have been some great people whose phrases continue to be as memorable today, as they were long ago; interestingly numerous Disney quotes are considered to be amongst all of the wisdom.
There are undoubtedly many Disney movies that you may be able to quote lines from, but would it surprise you to realize that a lot of the Disney quotes are as suitable today as they ever were?
Without a doubt there is the Walt Disney quotes like; “How could I have been so stupid?” This could easily ruin the business!” taken from Monsters Inc. are not an excellent example of Disney quotes we should think about, being the state of the economy throughout the first part of the twenty-first century. However “Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming” might be more appropriate. What do we still do? We swim, and swim, and swim, are you my conscience?” from Finding Nemo, seems to match properly with the times.
Walt Disney was a person way ahead of most contemporaries, with his futuristic concepts, and his clear knowing of individuals, evident in the theme parks he made. A lot of Walt Disney quotes highlight the insight of the person.
Although he is not responsible for publishing the truly great classics that come out of the Disney studios, anybody that has had enough time to read various original versions, will agree that they have all been altered substantially. A lot of the classic lines not present in the original stories. It is very clear that the majority of the great Disney quotes would never have been there if he had not approved of what they stood for.
If you are lucky enough to be old enough to remember when Walt Disney would introduce the stories of his weekly shows, and then talk at the end of the show as well, you will also know that there have been many Disney quotes which are less known, and seem to have been buried in time. Simply because most of these less memorable Disney quotes are not in the movies, they have just as much importance.
So when you are watching Donal Duck’s most recent antics, or listening to Merlin speak in that famous picture “The Sword & The Stone”, or possibly when you are trying to work out if Goofy is right or not, listen a little more closely to the Disney quotes in the movie, and see how they relate to your own life.
In closing, and to harness another of the excellent Disney quotes; “When you go after honey with a balloon, it is wise to not let the bees know you are coming”, I will try to fathom just how that applies to this short article.
If you have noticed that the world does not owe you a living, and want one of these brilliant Disney sayings that will serve you well in the future, then look no further than ‘First rule of leadership: everything is your fault.’ A lot of companies in the 2000′s seemed to ignore that certain; it would be nice to think that Walt Disney understood what was going to be coming, and that somehow filtered down through the ages to the writers of ‘Finding Nemo’.
Oh, why the Winnie the Pooh quote? For the reason that many times in everyday life, all of us let the bees know we are coming.
