Decorating Cake Items?

I have taken an interest in cake decorating lately. I was wondering where i would find fondant, icing and icing bags and for shapes do i just use cookie cutters?

The decorating accessories can be bought at any craft type store like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. They even have starter cake decorating kits at Linen's and Things. As far as Icing you can make your own icing. I'd check with your local bakery on fondant and where it can be purchased.
