Where can i order a birthday cake online in Montreal ?

I live in europe and my Bf lives in Montreal for now.I want to send him a birthday cake, would be cool if i could personalize it .i was googeling but nothing good came up. so I’m asking if anyone knows a bakery or a bakerys website (in english) where u can order cakes to be delivered right to your home.Also with a reasonable prize..lets say under 50 dollars. any sugestions are welcome Thank you!

There are only a couple of bakeries in Montreal that are set up for online orders, and those are generally for ordering bagels and breads, not custom-designed birthday cakes.

If you really want to try to get a cake delivered for his birthday, one place you could try would be the local IGA grocery store.

Almost all grocery stores here in Montreal now have a bakery section, and they make birthday cakes on demand. Since these stores often also offer home delivery of groceries, it is possible that they would accept an order for a birthday cake and deliver it for you.

The question is whether they would accept an order from overseas by credit card. My understanding is that upon delivery, most of these places require that you show the credit card before being allowed to accept delivery of the order.

But you can try to contact them to see. Perhaps they may suggest a bakery that will do this service for you.

And if you are okay with sending your boyfriend cookies instead of a cake, you could try sending him M. Felix and Mr. Norton cookies. Some franchises in the Montreal area do deliver, and they can send them in a nice tin, champagne bottle jar, or set up to look like a bouquet of flowers. You would just have to find the one closest to where he is living.
